Kinga Perge Kinga Perge INSARAG and EU Civil Protection Mechanism expert

Kinga works with preparedness projects and programs that are connected to regional and international disaster response.

She is a geographer (MSc) with experience in infocommunications by working as geoinformatics expert at the Hungarian disaster management for 8 years.

For 5 years, she has been supporting the EU Strategy for the Danube Region Environmental Risks Priority Area, where she's a senior advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Hungary. Within this framework, she established a macro-regional network of disaster management organizations. She is also involved in developing cross-border and international disaster management projects and coordinates their implementation. She is a member of the Hungarian Urban Search and Rescue team which has international classification. Kinga is also helping other volunteer rescue organizations, and was involved with several national and international missions and exercises, also supported many other EU and bilateral deployments. She's trained within the Europen Union Civil Protection Mechanism.

As a coach/trainer, she works with Urban Search and Rescue teams, and European Civil Protection Team in international field exercises. She is a trainer/lecturer within the EU Civil Protection Training Programme Deployable Capacities course.

As a leader of a volunteer team, MAGOR NGO Association for Disaster Response, her aim is to provide support and training for rescue units and volunteers. As chief exercise controller, she designs and conducts exercises internationally.
