Fausto Graduated with honors in nuclear engineering with a thesis on fusion reactor INTO first wall stress analysis at JRC Ispra from 1980 to 1982

From 1982 to 1986 he was engaged with various scientific contracts at the same Research Center in Ispra (VA) in the field of reliability and safety analysis of thermal nuclear reactors, with particular reference to risk analysis, the organization and development of Accident Databases and Reliability Databases of components, as well as the statistical processing of data.

Prolonged contacts with various national bodies, such as Eléctricité de France (France), ENEL (Italy), Vattenfallen (Sweden) for the collection and analysis of data on accidents and plant failures.

Since 1984, Fausto has been working at SYRECO (a consulting company specializing in Plant Risk Analysis, Environmental and Occupational Safety and Safety Audits), of which he has been Owner and Technical Director since 1986, as part of various activities of risk analysis, reliability and availability and audit of industrial plants, on behalf of important customers and national / internation industrial groups
